It started with a desk study in 2003 and 14 years later it’s finished!  Intégrale completed a series of investigations, risk assessments, remedial works and validation of construction for this 2.6 hectare site in Calne, Wiltshire.  It had formerly been a railway station, sidings and length of embankment, subsequently used over many decades for a whole range of industrial and commercial purposes, with above and below ground oil, fuel and creosote storage, chemical and waste storage, compressors and plant areas.  Our geotechnical and contaminated land advice has meant the successful site remediation and redevelopment of 102 residential units. We were recently back in the area and pleased to see our hard work and expertise did not go to waste! What was for a long time derelict contaminated land, now offers modern housing and community space.
