Many sites nationwide require specialist assessment and risk management of rock slopes and cliff faces. Be it a new coastal cliff development or development of disused quarries, the need to understand the risks associated with failure, rock falls etc. is paramount.
Intégrale are frequently involved in the early stages of such projects where detailed field studies are required. Whether abseiling down cliff faces or being propelled up on a hydraulic platform, no rock face will be left unconquered!
Detailed observations during field work inspections allow us to define the engineering properties of the rock mass and how it will behave with regards to the development scheme. This information is ‘fed’ into the design stage and allows risk mitigation measures or remedial works to be determined.
