During his time with Intégrale James has honed his knowledge of geotechnical engineering and contaminated land, making his expertise available to assist senior members of staff.
He initially contributed to the detailed investigations for Cheddar Reservoir No. 2 as an assistant project geologist.
After a year focusing on ground investigation, James moved to consulting, where he tackles a wide range of challenging projects. These include geomorphological mapping, assessing ground conditions for the UK’s largest solar farm, and computing stability of a steep and unstable hillslope and historical retaining wall on a WWII bombsite.
Now a Senior Geologist, his duties comprise all aspects of ground, groundwater and slope investigation, supervision and management of geotechnical and contaminated land projects, slope stability, mining risk and flood risk assessments, and client liaison. He now also mentors younger members of staff.
